Tipping is very much a part of daily life in Israel. A tip of 10 percent is at the lower end of the tipping scale: 12-15 percent is becoming more common, especially in trendy or upper-scale restaurants. A few establishments add a service charge when serving groups. Other than that, in most cases the charge will not appear on your restaurant bill.
